Data Analyst/ Analytics Engineer

You’ll be the first data hire at uEngage. Your job is to turn millions of restaurant and consumer data points into insights that power decision-making across sales, ops, product, and CRM. You’ll set up data infra, build dashboards, and uncover patterns that improve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with tech team to extract & clean data from MySQL, Mongo, and APIs
  
• Build dashboards and reports across CRM, delivery (Flash), app funnel
  
• Partner with finance team to automate metrics like CAC, LTV, retention
  
• Support sales and marketing with campaign ROI and cohort insights
  
• Set up foundational BI tools (e.g., Metabase / Looker Studio)
  
• Define and maintain data dictionaries and documentation
  

Must-Have Skills:

• SQL ninja – can write complex queries with joins, CTEs, etc.
  
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
  
• Strong understanding of business KPIs like CAC, AOV, retention
  
• Ability to own data from extraction to visualization
  
• Curious mindset with a bias toward impact, not just numbers
  

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with dbt or other data modeling tools
  
• Exposure to ML basics or predictive modeling
  
• Understanding of restaurant or logistics industry data
